Mario Morcone

Mario Morocone served as Head of the Cabinet at the Ministry of Interior from Januray 2017 to June 2018. Prior to this, he was Head of the Department of Civil Liberties and Immigration of the Ministry. Mario Morcone was appointed Head of Minniti's cabinet one month after Minniti took office. Mario Morcone directed the drafting of the Memorandum of Understanding, that was signed on February 2017. Mario Morcone led the Cabinet's work towards the Code of Conduct for NGOs operating SAR operations. Mario Morcone held the negotiations with NGOs.
