Giuseppe Perrone is an Italian diplomat with the rank of Ambassador who was appointed as Italian Ambassador. As a sign of the Italian commitment to promoting the “stabilization” of Libya, the Italian Embassy in Tripoli reopened in January 2017, appointing Giuseppe Perrone as the Ambassador on 10 January 2017. It is reasonable to assume that Ambassador Giuseppe Perrone contributed to facilitate the exchanges between the Italian Ministry of Interior and the LIbyan authorities on migration management matters.
