Functionnal responsibility for the "border package" proposed by DG HOME which involved strenghtening the mandate of Frontex and the elaboration of "working arrangements" with third countries. At a LIBE meeting she defended that Operation Sophia "had clearly contributed to improve maritime security in the Central Mediterranean". 

In the meeting with LIBE she clearly said that Operation Sophia has enabled to train the LYCG.

As Head of the Division of Migration and Human Security, she should have acted to reinforce exilees protection in Libya. However, abandoning LYCG training and camps was probably not in her power. 

In 2016 DG HOME contributed to 75.8 million euros to the emergency assistance which supported Triton and Poseidon operations in the Mediterranean (See, Commission, See, The Commission, B implication in policies, I End of MN and launch of Triton, The European Agenda on Migration)

High level of functional responsibility since during the all period she occupied important positions et the EU levl around the migration issue (Head of Division at EEAS for the Migration and Human Security division since 2019. Head of Unit for Inter-institutional Relations at DG HOME from 2016. Cabinet member of Commissioner Hahn of DG NEAR from 2014.

As member of the Timmermans-lead "better regulatoion, inter-institutional relations, the rule of law, the Charter of Fundamental Rights and sustainable development" team she might be implied on all levels concerning the European Agenda on Migration. But there is no evidence on concrete participations, since the scope of the project team is extremely broad.
