Ben Smulders

As the head of cabinet of Timmermans he encompasses functional responsibility linked to Timmermans. In this regard he must have taken part in the design of the operational plan of JO Triton (See, Timmermans)

On the 4th of July 2017, Mr. Avramopoulos and Mr. Timmermans presented the Commission’s Action Plan to support Italy which contain the idea of drafting an NGO Code of Conduct; As his head of cabinet Smulders probably helped in the redaction or at least was aware of this Action plan (See, Timmermans)

The Commission's Action plan presented (on 4th July 2017) by Timmermans and Avramopoulos also contain the idea of stepping up of training activities for LYCG; As his head of cabinet Smulders probably helped in the redaction or at least was aware of this Action plan
