The suspect was responsible for the establishment and operational plan of Triton; she participated in the relevant meetings and proposed operational plans for Triton closer to EU shores, she approved ‘Concept of reinforced joint operation tackling the migratory flows towards Italy: JO EPNF Triton to better control irregular migration and contribute to SAR in the Mediterranean Sea 

Functional responsibility: She did not push for any certain operation but followed the political lead of the management board
