  • 25 July 2017 : COUNCIL DECISION (CFSP) 2017/1385 of 25 July 2017 amending Decision (CFSP) 2015/778 on a European Union military operation in the Southern Central Mediterranean (EUNAVFOR MED operation SOPHIA): set Sophia’s budget and extended its mandate until 31 December 2018.

  • 29 March 2019: COUNCIL DECISION (CFSP) 2019/535 of 29 March 2019 amending Decision (CFSP) 2015/778 on a European Union military operation in the Southern Central Mediterranean (EUNAVFOR MED operation SOPHIA): extended Sophia’s mandate until September 30, 2019.
